Today is a late start day for Hononegah Community High School. The building will be open to first-hour students only at 8:40 AM and open to all students at 9:20 AM. First hour begins at 9:00, and the second hour begins at 9:45. There is no before-school tutoring on late-start days. Early Bird bus routes will pick students up exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes later than usual. Regular bus routes will pick students up exactly 55 minutes later than usual.
Late Start Bell Schedule:
To achieve the levels of success this community and your future deserve, we need your help.
We ask that the hallways be cell phone-free during all class periods. Even during lunch or when you're acting as a teacher’s assistant, do not have your cell phone out in the halls. Staff members will model this as well. Thank you for your cooperation.
The 5 Star hall pass system is a required part of operations. Please use the system for all passes and remember to sign out when you arrive at your destination. This closes the pass and is critical for our data tracking.
Please use the restroom nearest your classroom, and use the vending machines only during passing periods so you don’t miss instructional time.
Thank you for your help in maximizing learning in our classrooms.
Hey Seniors! Do you still need to complete your FAFSA application? If so, join school counselors for FAFSA Completion Night this Thursday, November 5th, in the library. Help will be available from 6-7:30 pm. Bring your parents, your Chromebook, and your Social Security number in order to complete your application. Remember, this is a graduation requirement!
The cafeteria has returned to the use of regular trays.
All students are asked to return their trays to the tray return window in the main cafeteria after eating.
Please remember:
Do not take regular trays outside of the cafeteria.
Do not throw trays away. They are reusable and must be returned.
If you plan to eat lunch outside of the cafeteria, please ask a member of the Food Service staff for a disposable tray.
Thank you for helping us keep our cafeteria clean and organized!
