The Admirable American for this week is a gay female European American Business leader. In 2018, Beth Ford took over at Land O’Lakes as the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 Company. Ford and her spouse, Jill Schurtz, also a CEO, have three teenage children and live in Minneapolis.
Just a quick reminder about our expectations in the lunchroom:
There is no budging in the lunch lines. Please wait your turn and stay in line.
Taking items without paying is considered stealing and is against our lunchroom rules. Students who are seen doing this will be subject to disciplinary consequences.
If you are not getting food, please do not stand in the lunch line or hold a place for someone else.
Please be respectful to our lunchroom staff and to the students around you. We all share responsibility for making the lunchroom a positive and respectful place for everyone.
Hey Hono! Get ready for an Attendance Competition happening September 21–25! Your 2nd period class will compete to see who can have the best attendance for the week with no tardies, no unexcused absences, and no parent-called absences. The winning class will earn a donut party to kick off Homecoming Week! If more than one class has perfect attendance, we’ll have a drawing to determine the final winner so be here, be on time, and help your class earn those donuts!
Your 2026 Homecoming Court ballot is live! Follow the link sent by Mr. Lee to vote for your class representatives. Voting ends Monday, September 21st at midnight.
Homecoming is right around the corner! Purchase your tickets to this year's dance, The Spirit of Pandora, by scanning the QR code on the posters around the building or following the link sent by Mr. Lee. The dance takes place in the Field House on October 3rd from 7-10 PM. If you're bringing a guest, you must pick up a form from the DA office and turn it in by September 25th. Reach out to Mr. Lee with any questions.
