Today marks the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93, intended to strike a target in Washington. Almost 3,000 people lost their lives on that terrible day. Only staff members listening now were alive when the attacks happened, and I’m sure we all remember what we were doing when we lived through that terrible event. We know the shock, terror, and heartbreak of that day. Students, you have learned about 9/11 and how it changed the nation. Please join me in remembering those who perished on September 11th, 2001, during the moment of silence at the end of today’s announcements.  Thank you.

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.  According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Suicide Prevention Month is a time to raise awareness, spread hope, and spark meaningful action around one of the most urgent mental health issues of our time.  Check in on your friends who might be struggling.  To help your friends, watch for changes in behavior, listen without judgment, and connect them to the 988 lifeline.  Know that you are not alone and there is help for you!

Attention Seniors! A quick reminder: if you were not able to schedule your senior conference with your school counselor during Wednesday's presentation, please make sure to book your appointment today. Check the email provided or stop by the SSS office if you have any questions.

Come to Cinematics today where we are honoring 9/11 with a real life documentary. French filmmakers, Jules and Gedeon Naudet, were filming a New York Firehouse on September 11, 2001 when they unexpectedly captured the entire day's events as they unfolded in real time. This poignant depiction of the realities of that day is chilling. Please come to room 1434 this Friday to see 9/11. Food and friends will be there.

Paranormal Investigators Club will meet today in the Upper AP room.   Our meeting will be from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.   See Ms. Z in 2419 with any questions.

Our clubs and activities are actively recruiting!  Please use this site to navigate through all of the clubs offered at Hononegah High School. The list of activities will continue to change as we work to add more opportunities in the future. As part of our Strategic Plan, we will strive to connect 100% of our Freshman Class to a club, sport, or activity.https://trst.in/R73S0v
