Congratulations to the Girls Golf team for their 4th place finish at the Rockford Country Club Invite on Monday! And a special congratulations to Alicia Wallin, the medalist and champion golfer of the tournament, beating the rest of the field by 2 or more strokes! Good luck the rest of the season ladies! 


ATTN: Juniors

We will be offering the optional digital PSAT/NMSQT to interested juniors during the morning on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Please refer to the Google Form sent to your email on August 6 and again on August 18 to sign up. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, August 27, 2026. Please don't wait to sign up.


We still have open positions on Honoegah's Student Council for the Class of 2029 and Class of 2030. Interested freshmen and sophomores can pick up petitions to join in Mr. Lee's room, 2300. Freshmen can also pick up petitions and ask questions at the Student Council booth during today's activity fair. Reach out to Mr. Lee (mlee@hononegah.org) with any questions.  


Paid parking stickers will be available for pickup in the DA Office before or after school. 


Fees are collected daily in the Principal’s office from 7:45 to 8:50 am.


Auditions for this year's fall play, It's A Wonderful Life, are today from 3:30-6:00 on the PAC stage. To sign up for your audition, please visit the bulletin board outside the choir room or go to Hononegah Theatre's Google Classroom. Club Announcements:

Attention all Artists! Please come to Creative Endeavors Art Club this Thursday, August 2oth at 8:15 am in art room 1439 to see what Art Club is all about and make plans for the 26-27 school year!


Rugby is a high intensity sport, a little bit of soccer and football mixed together into something amazing. If you're interested in learning how the game works and potentially joining our team, head to Room 2414 right after school for an informational meeting about girls rugby on Friday, August 21st.  Join our Google Classroom with code 5kvba7t or ask Coach Fleege or Coach Brefeld if you have any questions. Chess Club's Back to School Tournament is this Friday (8/21) from 3:30-5:00 in the library. Sign up using the Google Form on the Chess Club Google Classroom (sign up code: 43wy2ht). See Mr. Christoff in room 1105 with any questions. See you then!


Calling all current AND wannabe future stagehands! Stagehands Club, Hononegah's Technical Theater club, will be having our first meeting of the year after school at 3:30pm TODAY, August 19th, in room 1102. Interested in crewing Hononegah's shows? Curious to learn more about lighting design or sound design? Want to have the opportunity to go see live theatre? This is the club for you! The outrageously fun GSA club represents an alliance of students interested in promoting acceptance of the full range of human Gender and Sexual identities. Literally all students are welcome to have fun with GSA. This includes straight allies and also the L, G, B, T, and Q. The Genders and Sexualities Alliance will meet after school on Thursday, August 20th in room #1205. Bring any questions about GSA to Mr. Sabathne in room #1205.  


Hononegah Theater is looking for Crew Heads for this year's fall play, It's a Wonderful Life. We need a Stage Management team, Lighting Designer, Sound Designer, Master Carpenter, and Dramaturg.
