The Hononegah High School Athletic Department would like to invite you to Jocelyn Rumage’s college signing to University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for Swimming. We hope you will join us for this great achievement by Jocelyn today at 4:00 pm in the Student Commons.
Students and staff, are you ready for a funny and emotional musical take on a classic story? Come to the Spring production of Freaky Friday, based on the 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films. Performances will be on Friday, March 13 at 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 14th at 7:00 pm, and Sunday, March 15th at 2:00 pm. Adult tickets are $10.00 each and student tickets are $8.00 each. Tickets can be purchased on the Hononegah Ticketor Website or with cash during lunch on Wednesday, March 11th or Thursday, March 12th. Tickets can also be purchased via cash or check after school Tuesday (3/10) through Friday (3/13) or in-person at the door!
Scared of giving blood? Don't be! The process takes under an hour and includes a medical screening and time for refreshments. Consider signing up to give a life-changing donation at the Student Council-hosted Blood Drive on Friday, March 13th. Fill out the form sent by Mr. Lee to donate. Stop by room 2300 if you're sixteen and need a parental consent form.
Class of 2026: Don't miss out! The Senior Class trip will be April 8 at Main Event and Woodfield Mall. Forms are due by March 18 in the Principal's office. Get a Senior shirt that you can wear on the trip too!
You are invited to participate in this year's Battle of the Books! Five amazing books have been chosen for you to read with your friends. The Battle of the Books will take place in April in the library, and all students who participate will win at least one prize! Make a team of 2 to 5 students and come to the library to sign up and get copies of the books! See Mrs. Blum in the library to sign up or to ask any questions, and scan the QR code on posters around the building for more information.
Seniors: Jostens will be handing out caps and gowns on Tuesday, March 17th in the PAC lobby during lunch.
Attention all Juniors: Please remember to bring your fully charged Chromebook to US History class this Wednesday. You will need your device to participate in and take notes during the Junior Presentations with the School Counselors
Club Announcements:
Anime and Manga club will meet after school this Wednesday in the library. See Mrs. Blum with any questions. Please bring money for your tshirt order if you ordered a tshirt. All are welcome; bring a friend!
We will be holding a quick meeting for Trap athletes interested in the competition season and the state tournament. We will meet at 3:20 in room 1402. Remember, you cannot participate in the State or National tournaments unless you also participate in the competition season.
Calling all artists! Come to Art Club in art room 1439 on Thursday, March 12 at 8:15 am to begin our new spring creative endeavor artwork and pass the journal!
