Students, tonight kicks off your weekend of Hononegah's fall play, Clue! Put the phone down. The algorithm can wait. Come vibe IRL at the fall play. The cast of Clue are giving talent and main character energy. This play is fire!
Performances will be on Friday, November 7th at 7:00pm, Saturday, November 8th at 7:00pm, and Sunday, November 9th at 2:00 pm. Adult tickets are $8.00 each and student tickets are $6.00 each or free with an activity pass.
Tickets can be purchased on the Hononegah Ticketor Website or with cash during lunch today and one hour before each performance. Chat, you skip the play. Everyone else is vibin’ and you’re stuck scrolling. Don’t be that person. See you this weekend!
The Admirable American for this week is a Taiwanese-American, male, research scientist. After studying at MIT and Harvard Dr. David Ho worked at Cedar-Sinai in L.A. where he started research on early cases of HIV/AIDS. His research in the mid-1990s led to treatments which made the deadly disease survivable. For his medical research Time named Dr. Ho Man of the Year in 1996. Good news! Dr. Ho and his lab are currently working on coronavirus.

The Math Team participated in the American Mathematics Competition on Wednesday. In the AMC 10 division: 1st place Justin Kueker, 2nd place Raylee Bohnert, 3rd place Gavin Schmidt. In the AMC 12 division: 1st place Ian Schmidt, 2nd place Kaelynn Bohnert, 3rd place Lauren Weiher. Congratulations team!
Boys Basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, November 10th in the Fieldhouse at 3:30. Any interested players need to have an up to date physical and officially register in SNAP prior to tryouts. Reach out to Coach Schmidt if you have any questions.
Information for the girls bowling season is now available in the athletic office. The first practice is November 17th at Viking Lanes. You must register on snap and have a physical on file prior to participating.
Good morning, Hononegah! Are you ready to join the legacy? Sign-ups for the Hononegah Boys and Girls Wrestling season are officially open! We're looking for hard-working athletes who want to get stronger, quicker, and more athletic, whether you're a returning veteran or have never stepped on a mat before.
The season kicks off with our first practice this Monday, November 10th, right after school from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. All you need to bring is a t-shirt and shorts. You must be registered online to practice, so be sure to go to the Hononegah Athletics website to sign up today. If you have any questions, please talk to Coach Miers in room 1430. Don't miss your chance to be part of the team. See you on the mat!

Cinematics is celebrating the best black and white and Noir films this month. Come to room 1434 today at 3:30 to see the movie voted as this week's best. All are welcome. Food and friends will be there.
