The incredibly fun GSA club is a group of students interested in promoting acceptance of the full range of human gender and sexual identities. Literally all students are welcome to have fun with GSA. This includes straight allies and also the L, G, B, T, and Q. The Genders and Sexualities Alliance will meet after school on Thursdays in room #1205. Our first meeting is Thursday August 14th from 3:20 until 4:15. Bring any questions about GSA to Mr. Sabathne in room #1205.
If you're ready to push yourself outside of your comfort zone, then it's time to roll the dice: get involved in Hono Theatre's 2025 fall play, Clue! An informational meeting will be held this Thursday, August 14th @ 3:30 in the choir room. Hono Theatre is looking for talented and driven theatre artists to join the company, including crew for lighting, sound, scenic, props, costumes, run crew, dramaturgy, and much more! Inspired by the Hasbro board game and set against the backdrop of 1950s McCarthyism, this hysterical murder mystery will have you asking "whodunnit" from beginning to end! Contact Mr. Frieden in Room 2403 with any questions.
Come to room 2414 after school on Friday, August 22nd, for a rugby informational meeting if you are interested in joining the team this year. Coach Fleege will be available to answer questions, talk about the sport, and lead you through the paperwork. Practices start Tuesday August 26th!

Fun Fact: There Are More Stars in the Universe Than Grains of Sand on Earth
Look up at the night sky and try to imagine counting all the stars. It’s impossible! Scientists estimate there are about 10 billion galaxies in the observable universe, each with about 100 billion stars. That’s way more than all the grains of sand on all the beaches in the world!
