Hononegah Recognizes Mr. Carl Stoltz and Ms. Julie Gerard for being selected to receive an Ecolab grant!
The goal of Ecolab’s Visions for Learning educator grants (for school educators: teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators and other licensed staff in pre-k through high schools) is to encourage and reward individual educators’ creativity and innovation in classroom learning by providing opportunities that will motivate and challenge students intellectually, raise student achievement, as well as increase their understanding of academic content and the connection between school and life.
Mr. Stoltz will be awarded $949.28 for his proposal that will improve student’s understanding of basic electrical circuits such as series, parallel and combo circuits. The conductive pens will allow students to see in real time what connections are required for a circuit to work, and what happens to the circuits when additional lights, resistors or transistors are added to the circuits.
Ms. Gerard will be awarded $166.99 to help support the pragmatic (social) language learning of students with special needs. Expected results are that these students will show an increased ability to behave and participate with better pragmatic (social) language skills.
Hononegah congratulates Mr. Stoltz and Ms. Gerard for receiving Ecolab’s Visions for Learning grant.
